I’ve been to healthy food restaurants before, and it is comforting when you know that the calories and nutritional make-up of the food is pretty good. But it’s really awesome when the food tastes great too! This is what I found at Muscle Maker Grill. Here in Tulsa, it’s located at Highway 75 and 71st St. in the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center. I drove there in the snow to sample some of their best selling dishes, and here’s what I found:

Lose Your Quit (The meaning behind the title)
Have you ever felt that all the work you were doing just didn't matter? Or maybe that it was no use, because the road was way too long and it was a lost cause? I have.
When I was 460 pounds, even if I lost 60 pounds I still weighed 400! Image looking at yourself in the mirror after losing 60 pounds and seeing absolutely NO difference! It was too much! So over and over again I would quit and gain the weight back. Well, one night on The Biggest Loser, I did the math. Over the last 15 years, I had lost over 1,000 POUNDS! Just 20, 30, or 40 pounds at a time. When I saw no results, I would quit. And what you do every day becomes your normal - so quitting became my middle name.
It began with my music career. I quit. Then my job. I settled and quit doing what I loved to do. Then, I just QUIT ON ME! Well, that night on the ranch when I was digging a hole in the Malibu Beach sand, trying to win a Biggest Loser challenge, it hit me. I was the first person to uncover my chest, but I still didn't win the challenge. After doing the math that night on how much I had lost over the years, I also discovered I had done more work GIVING UP and QUITTING then if I had just FOLLOWED THROUGH. I lost 239 pounds in 6 1/2 months on The Biggest Loser. That's a quarter of what I lost at home 15 years up to that point! That night, digging a hole in the sand, I wanted to quit a hundred times...BUT I DIDN'T! I chose NOT TO GIVE UP!
Danny Cahill of The Biggest Loser - Fast Food Survival Guide 6: Chipotle Mexican Grill
Chipotle Mexican Grill
The trick to eating at Chipotle is to DITCH THE TORTILLAS! The Flour Burrito Tortilla is 290 calories! That is C-R-A-Z-Y! Corn Taco tortillas are 180 calories while a Flour Taco tortilla is a whopping 270 calories! So right off the bat, I’m going to tell you to GO FOR THE BOWL!
When choosing Bowl contents, select 4 Oz. of Chicken, Beef, Barbacoa or Carnitas. Lowest in Sodium and fat is Steak and Chicken which contain 190 Calories each for 4 ounces.
Take the SUBWAY to a healthy lunch! Danny Cahill's fast Food Survival Guide Issue 5! As Seen on The Biggest Loser
Well, overall Subway is one of the more healthy places you can eat fast! But if you don’t follow a few simple rules it can turn bad…fast!
Let me tell you what Jillian Michaels taught me about sandwiches and watching calories: Say yes to Mustard and no to Mayonnaise, say yes to Vinegar and no to Oil. Those two tricks can save you a hundred calories on a sandwich!
Here’s another trick from Season 5 winner Ali Vincent. She told me in Boston while we ran the Boston Marathon together that she never put cheese on a sandwich. She said it adds 50-80 calories and you hardly taste the cheese! She says if she’s going to eat cheese, it won’t be on a sandwich…she is going to taste the cheese if she’s going to eat the calories!
Some bread is better than others. I like to eat the bread with the least amount of calories and sodium. You have to be careful, because some bread can add a few hundred more. Subway gives their nutritional info, so be wary when ordering your bread!
Here’s how I like to shop at Subway:
Pick the bread. Here’s what I choose:
6” - 9-grain Wheat Bread: 210 Calories, 2g Fat, 310 mg sodium, 40g Carbs, 8g Protein

During 2011, Danny spoke and participated in events for many companies including Gorton's Inc., Melton Truck Lines, Chick-fil-A, and more! Perhaps the most intense was with the Williams Company, a global energy company based in the United States (NYSE:WMB). They are a self-insured company that decided to bring Danny on board to help with their Williams Way to Wellness campaign. During 2011, participation in the campaign DOUBLED compared to participation before Danny's involvement! Many even ran the Route 66 Marathon's 5K and 1/2 Marathon with Danny and a few even ran the full marathon! Talk about inspiring others to make a change!
The Biggest Loser ever Danny Cahill is on the go!
Danny travels to las Vegas, NV to speak at the Autodesk University conference on November 28th! He is excited to spread his motivation to those in need of a change.

Danny will be finishing up the Williams Way to Wellness on December 7th, where he will bring to light the changes that many of the Williams Company's employees have made! Danny is proud that his participation in the Williams Company's health and wellness program has seen great results! Many of the employees ran a 5K, 1/2 Marathon, and a Marathon for the first time! When Danny challenged them to "do something you have never done before," he never thought it would have this effect! So many have improved their lives and health with Danny's participation! He looks forward to working with many more companies and their Health and Wellness Programs in 2012, namely The Bama Companies and others!
Danny will be performing at The Bridge church in Bixby, Oklahoma in the Christmas Program on December 10 and 11! He is excited to be singing and playing with his old friends in the program! Go to www.thebridgebixby.com for more info!
Danny Cahill of The Biggest Loser is running the Route 66 Marathon’s ½ Marathon and 5K Race on November 19th and November 20th
It all began early in the year when The Williams Company hired Danny to speak at several locations nationwide to their employees. The Williams Way to Wellness began in early 2011 and many of those he spoke to at Williams will be running with him in the Route 66 Marathon! Although Danny has run 2 full marathons since losing 239 pounds on The Biggest Loser and becoming the Biggest Loser EVER in the history of the show during the shortest season, this time he is focusing on the 5K and the ½ Marathon to be able to share it with those that have never run anything in their lives!
He challenged the employees to “Lose their Quit” and set a goal to do something they never had done before. For many, they had never done a 5K and for those who have he mentioned the ½ Marathon. He then pledged to train himself for the ½ marathon and run them alongside the employees despite his intense travel schedule. “I figured that with their lives…work schedules, family, and everyday things people have to deal with…if I could dedicate myself to train for the ½ marathon despite having to fly over 100 flights that it might speak to them and allow them to find a way to train themselves.”
Challenge yourself!
2 1/2 years ago when I was 458 pounds I would look in the mirror wondering how it all happened. I used to cry and say to myself, “What is wrong with you?!” I’d regret letting myself go, failing my dreams and giving up. Then a turning point happened.
